Don't fence me in

Simi Valley near Hollywood has served as a location for such television series as Gunsmoke and  M*A*S*H.

There up North in the Tapo Canyon hills Little House on the Prairie, Bonanza and Rawhide were filmed.

Today Simi Valley is also the location of the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library.

Oh and the above photo is neither from the valley nor the hills, but look hard enough and you can get that cowboy feeling...Can't you?

Cut!

Still a long road ahead until the first rough cut is ready or that we even have all the footage for it, but our editor Steven Worsley seems defiant to go ahead.

Steven worked as an assistant editor on Greenzone and is currently working on Dredd. He is also an American Cinema Editors alumni having done his internship in Los Angeles.

Checkpoint Charlie

At the movies

The place where our characters Cooper and Stewart would have gone for movies. The cinema, retired, now continues its duty  as a museum in Berlin.

The Maz owned and operated by Mil-Safarit is featured in the January (01/2011) issue of the Mobilisti magazine. The Maz can also be seen in the film.

Teufelsberg

While Teufelsberg is not featured in the film it nevertheless is an interesting and exciting piece of Cold War history worth studying! Built on an artificial mountain in Berlin the stories the place could tell are truly captivating.
